The painting on the left is based on an old photograph of me (in the back) and my two sisters. It was taken at about 1958 in the backyard of our house in Jerusalem. According to the waving flag it was probably Independence Day.

"The Pink Painting", on the right is a self-portrait. The background is painted with quick brush strokes in acrylic paint, and the interior painting is mostly oil-colored.

The following painting is also a self-portrait and is done in oil paint smudges using spatula, and the figure in the box was created inspired by a polystyrene head that I decorated with accessories and put in a perforated box.
